Georgia’s food and fiber production and processing is a $74.3 billion industry, and accounts for more than 411,500 Georgia jobs. This expansive industry has invested and created for itself a voice in the public arena. This voice is the Georgia Agribusiness Council.
With over 1,075 farm and business members throughout the state, it is critical to have a dedicated team like ours standing up for the issues that are significant to agriculture and forestry every single day. From advocacy in the legislative arena, fighting for water rights and ag labor, to the promotion of agricultural education, the Council provides a forum for the entire agricultural industry to build relationships, become informed on issues, and work on together to grow our industry. We are proud to partner with GFB and a strong network of other agriculture and forestry organizations to benfit the agribusiness economy.
The Georgia Agribusiness Council’s mission is “To advance the Business of Agriculture through Economic Development, Environmental Stewardship, and Education to Enhance the Quality of Life for All Georgians.” We invite you to invest in your agribusiness by joining the Council today.
